The ISSA, the global association of the cleaning industry, has elected Michel de Bruin as Chair of the Council of Europe. He takes over the position from Andrew Dunning. Michel de Bruin, CEO of Greenspeed, has been active in recent years as Council of Europe representative for the Benelux region and later as Deputy Chair.
“My main goals as chairman will be, firstly, to coordinate the global cleaning industry by organizing networking events for members and potential members at the regional and international levels,” says de Bruin. Secondly, he wants to advertise ISSA and the professional cleaning sector in other branches as well as in the recreational industry or gastronomy, where hygiene and cleanliness are of paramount importance. “My third goal is to refresh the cleaning industry and make it a more attractive career choice.”
