What you need to know for your trade fair visit
Making interesting contacts, discovering new products, listening to exciting talks – a visit to the CMS Berlin 2017 should be crowned with success
for you. In order to give you the best possible help with your preparations, we have compiled the most vital information.
Where and when?
The CMS Berlin 2017 will take place
at the Berlin exhibition grounds
in Halls 1.2 to 4.2 and in Hall 6.2
(south entrance, Jafféstrasse) every
day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. from 19
to 22 September.
A day pass costs EUR 21, discounted
tickets EUR 10, and the
season ticket EUR 32. You can
easily order tickets for the CMS
through our online ticket shop:
Parking spaces for all visitors arriving
by car are located opposite
Hall 25/26 on the P 17/18 car parks.
If you want to take the S-Bahn (suburban
railway) train, take the S 5
and get off at the Messe Süd station.
Would you rather travel by taxi?
Then we recommend you take the
south entrance (Eingang Süd) of
the Messe Berlin site (Jafféstrasse).
Deutsche Bahn special offer
You can travel to Berlin and back
from every Deutsche Bahn train
station across Germany for a total
of only EUR 99 (2nd class) and EUR
159 (1st class). Book your train ticket
to the CMS direct at Deutsche Bahn

Your ticket will be valid between 17
and 24 September 2017. You can

Free airport shuttle
As a special service, there will be
a free airport shuttle service from
19 to 22 September. It takes just 25
minutes to get from Tegel Airport
to Messe Berlin and vice versa.
Please note the following travel
From Tegel Airport to Messe Berlin:
daily from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
and from 3.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.
every 30 minutes and from 11:30
a.m. to 3.30 a.m. every 60 minutes.
The Tegel Airport stop is located
in front of the main hall, near Gate
From Messe Berlin to Tegel Airport:
daily from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
and from 3.30 p.m. to 6 p.m. every
30 minutes and from 11:00 a.m. to
3:00 p.m. every 60 minutes. The
exhibition grounds stop is between
the south entrance (Eingang
Süd) and Jafféstrasse.

The CMS Berlin 2017 is back with even more
surface area and new hall: Hall 6.2a. The trade
fair can be reached via the south entrance
(Haupteingang Süd). The WFBSC World Congress,
which is linked to the CMS this year, is
being held in Hall 7, which has its own entrance.
The Marshall House in the Summer Garden of
the Berlin expo ground is the venue for the CMS
evening and a series of seminars.

The new CMS Berlin 2017 app will
make a big contribution to the
success of your trade fair visit.
The application is an information
medium, guide and networking
tool all in one, providing you with
news about exhibitors, products
and events, a ground plan and a
whole lot more. By downloading
all important data just once, CMS
visitors can use the app anywhere
– regardless of the mobile Internet
connection. We recommend you
download it to the mobile terminal
before visiting the trade fair. As of
summer 2017, the new CMS Berlin
2017 app will be available free of
charge for iPhones, Android smartphones
a practical product and exhibitor
search function. The VMP is available
all year round and offers many
advantages. Thanks to the networking
tool, trade visitors can
get in touch with exhibitors and
other visitors from the industry. All
you need to do, so that people can
find you in the catalogue is to create
a free profile in the networking
directory. A contact form facilitates
the scheduling of appointments.
Interesting entries can be stored in
the exhibition planner and compiled
for your own individual tour
around the trade fair.
A newsletter tells participants
about the latest news about
the fair and the exhibitors and
products, and is tailored to the
subscriber's personal interest. Interactive
hall plans help visitors
to find the exact location of exhibitors
– with an offline function for
tablet and smartphone. There's an
overview of the exhibitors at a
glance – for download in PDF and
Excel format. The VMP is optimised
for all devices – whether a tablet or
smartphone. Besides these official
